Episode 1
On her first day in the new role, Annika and the team are called in to solve the murder of a man found in the Clyde, a harpoon piercing his head. The investigation leads them to the victim's struggling boat business, where not everything is above board.

Episode 2
When a body is found on a boat in the Clyde, the case takes the team to the Isle of Bute. Evidence points to a jilted lover, but as the team investigate, a darker secret starts to emerge.

Episode 3
When the body of a scientist is found in Loch Katrine, Annika is reminded of Ibsen's Enemy of the People. But with so many people wanting him dead, which one did he push over the edge?

Episode 4
When writer Cara Gibson is found dead under a bridge on Glasgow's riverfront, Annika and the team are called in to solve the murder. A darling of the tabloids, Cara wasn't afraid to ruffle feathers, and her books have ruined careers and left a lot of lives in tatters. But which of these people would be driven to murder? And why has she recently turned her back on a successful publishing career to take a low-paid teaching job at Glasgow University?

Episode 5
Annika and the team are tasked with solving the death of a man ‘everybody loved', thrown in the river from a party boat. When the method of murder is revealed, the team realise this murder was more premeditated than they could have ever thought.

Episode 6
A young woman murdered on the Glasgow docks hits the team hard when Michael's brother is named as the next of kin. Michael is taken off the case while his brother is investigated, and it doesn't look good as the evidence starts to pile up against him. An unexpected discovery means the case takes a frightening twist, and Annika and her team quickly find themselves in grave danger, their lives at risk from the murderer.
Morgan turns 16, and while delighted, Annika is starting to struggle with feelings of her little girl growing up. When Annika finds herself in danger, she realises she needs to make a decision that will hugely affect Morgan's life.
