Songkrod and Auerkarn used to be a loving couple, but once Songkrod's family was killed and he was kidnapped, they both lost contact with each other. Auerkarn has not moved on with her life, even though she is a doctor right now. Songkrod returns to her city after being brainwashed and trained by his kidnappers and goes through life as Kim. He came back to use his magic for his revenge. When Auerkarn bumps into Songkrad, she directly notices similarities with her former lover, though she isn't sure as he is acting completely different.
