Time
After disaster on the sister ship and a troubling discovery, Moira patches Cole up. Jensen works on finding a solution to their predicament.
Choices
Flashback to Cole's time as a detective on Earth. An important event from Cole and Moira's past is revealed. Captain Schreiber gives Cole a choice on Valley Forge Outpost.
Ring
Moira informs the crew how Sanders' copy died. Cole is put on the defensive. An unfortunate choice reveals a horrible new truth.
Fate
With power failing, the remaining crew search for Sanders. The group splits, and Sanders makes his move.

All hope is seemingly lost when a potential solution presents itself. The remaining crew must act fast if they are ever going to break the cycle and escape time's grasp.

The series is named after Dan Simmons's 2007 novel, which serves as the basis for the first season and is a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin's lost expedition to the Arctic in 1845–1848.
The second season, subtitled Infamy, bears no relation to the book or first season and is mostly set in an American-run Japanese internment camp during World War II.
