In London, Christie's auctions photos of Marilyn Monroe and a painting of Derby Day by William Powell Frith that had been hanging in an unlocked beach hut for 50 years.

A one-million-pound note printed after World War II comes up for grabs, along with a familiar sculpture of Winston Churchill and President Roosevelt sitting on a bench.

Episode 9
Elizabeth Taylor's fabulous jewels go on sale at Sotheby's. Expected to fetch up to £30million, the collection includes the Krupp diamond given to her by Richard Burton.

Episode 10
In Paris, art owned by collector Darthea Speyer goes on sale. Plus, celebrity watches go under the hammer in New York, including a piece Howard Hughes once gave as a gift.
