Season 7
The popular and long running series is back with more tension and bidding than before. The seventh series of the hit show Auction features the sale of Constable's ‘The Lock' (at over nine million pounds), a copy of the 1930's car owned by Ralph Lauren, fabulous jewels by Cartier, the personal effects of the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire, and the annual auction of wine in Burgundy - which has been taking place for 150 years.
Episodes

Episode 1
Step inside the great auction houses of the world and discover the bidding frenzies within. In this opening episode, Sotheby's sells The Lock by John Constable.

Episode 2
The work of designers such as Finn Juhl, Shiro Kuramata and Arne Jacobsen comes to the salerooms of London in a week dedicated to design classics.

Episode 3
The blouse Judy Garland wore in the film The Wizard of Oz goes up for sale in London, as do Warwick Castle's ornate Grimani Tables - valued at half a million pounds each.

Episode 4
Items from the collection of the late Dowager Duchess of Devonshire come under the hammer at Sotheby's in London. Elsewhere, prints and multiples are offered at Christie's.

Episode 5
In Burgundy, France, the Hospice de Beaune wine auction takes place - the most famous charity wine sale in the world, dating back to 1795.

Episode 6
In Staffordshire, Bonhams is selling eight rare Brough motorbikes - made famous by Lawrence of Arabia. Meanwhile in London, Christie's is selling Old Masters.

Episode 7
A book published by Ernest Shackleton's team goes under the hammer at Sotheby's. Meanwhile, Christie's is expecting over £400,000 for a photograph by Peter Beard.

Episode 8
A much sought-after timepiece by the renowned 17th-century London clock-maker Thomas Tompion goes under the hammer at Christie's.

Episode 9
Photographs that define our age come under the hammer at Sotheby's, including a work by Irving Penn that may fetch nearly a quarter of a million pounds.

Episode 10
At the Monaco Grand Prix Historique, a Jaguar C-Type once driven at Le Mans and a 1968 Ferrari valued at 23million euros go up for auction.
