Automan - Season 1

A timid LAPD computer expert Walter Nebicher develops an alter-ego while tinkering with a video game. Nebicher's bright, a real genius. This alter ego" — actually a holographic image — turns out to be the expert crime fighter named "Automan." "Automan" also has the services of "Autocar," Autoplane," and Cursor, a glowing hexagon with special powers.

Using Automan's computer resources, he and Walter discover that a gang of kidnappers operate under the guise of a respected security organization called Global Guard and make their gain by employing the specialized talents of the young scientists and engineers they capture and bring to a luxurious resort-like prison camp in the Swiss Alps.

Underworld gambling czar, Leonard Martin, is behind a plot to discredit Judge Alexander Farnsworth in a phony frame-up designed to link the judge to the syndicate. It's all part of Martin's plan to keep Judge Farnsworth, who is feared by the mob, from presiding over Martin's upcoming trial over his gambling activities.

Automan poses as a gangster to shut down a counterfeiting operation. 

Walter and Automan unearth a murderous con game and race to the Caribbean to assist Lt. Curtis and Roxanne.

When Automan discovers romance, he is unable to concentrate on helping Walter in investigation of a murder case.

Walter's friend and fellow cop Frank Cooney is killed during the theft of police weaponry. But when the Internal Affairs agent believes Frank was involved, Walter is suspended when he and Auto interfere trying to prove his friend's innocence.

Walter and Automan battle with a computer expert who is using his expertise to disrupt the city's automated systems.

Walter attempts to help Teresa free her brother from imprisonment on a chain gang.

Walter and Automan are led into the world of rock music as they battle an extortionist to save a beautiful singer's life.

Automan travels to Hollywood to solve the murder of a gossip columnist and break a drug smuggling operation.

Automan goes undercover as an erotic dancer in a ladies-only strip club. A male exotic dancer and a parking attendant are suspected of burglarizing wealthy neighborhoods.

The police aim to smoke out a hit man and the mob boss who hired him after a fashion designer and one of Jack's former partners are murdered.

Walter and Automan accompany Roxanne to a spa on a tropical isle where her friend disappeared after learning of a diamond smuggling ring.
