Detective De Cock arrives at Station Warmoesstraat for his very first day of work and is coupled to the seasoned Tonnie Montijn. Despite their differences, they create a bond of mutual respect and friendship.

De Cock and Montijn accidentally discover a conspiracy within the squatters' scene, and an attack during the coronation of Beatrix seems imminent. De Cock starts to distrust Montijn.

The day after the loss of his partner Tonnie, De Cock has no time to recover. He is linked to a new detective: Andy Ruiter. And on the cutting table of Rusteloos, a new corpse is already ready to be investigated.

Amsterdam is flooded with heavy weapons. A shooting at sex club Belinda has claimed the life of a Turkish Mafia family. De Cock and Ruiter do a reconstruction and find a possible witness.

LaCroix wants De Cock to investigate the missing weapons in secrecy. With some reserves, De Cock calls her in for help with the interrogation of crown witness Willem Kroos.

There is chaos in the city when suddenly every teenager seems to hold a weapon. De Cock's distrust of his colleagues increases when crown witness Hassan is kidnapped and killed.

Looder visits the Warmoesstraat office. Wormgoor has mustard gas and is looking for a buyer. The hunt leads De Cock and Ruiter to Belgium, where they try to intercept the mustard gas.

Back in Amsterdam, there is still no trace of the van with mustard gas. In the meantime, the city is full of protesters. De Cock and Ruiter do everything in their power to prevent an attack.
