Survival Skills
What happens when, at a zoo, bonobo babies are rejected by their mothers? Or wild baby seals are found starving on the UK coastline? Every day, countless newborn animals are orphaned or abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Meet the dedicated men and women who aid them in their fight for survival.

Human Intervention
They span the globe from South Africa to France to Canada: baby animals struggling for life against adverse conditions, both natural and manmade. Fortunately, there are also teams of vets and caretakers who work tirelessly to save these creatures and their species from extinction.

Deliverance
Travel the globe, and witness baby animals being delivered from a world of certain death to one of salvation and hope. We show a unique project that uses surrogate monkeys to care for orphaned vervet babies. Watch a transformed peccary learn how to walk, and observe an emergency c-section on a spider monkey.

Intensive Care
Intensive care, like the baby animals in need of it, comes in all varieties. Follow the journey of a puma cub with a mysterious illness, a wombat found alive in his dead mother's pouch after a road accident, a tiny marmoset who's rejected by its mother, and an infant anteater facing starvation.

Saving Species
Behind-the-scenes at wildlife sanctuaries, zoos, and animal parks, vets and caregivers strive beyond simply saving a species-they want to prompt a new animal baby boom. See infant bears, lions, lemurs, and leopards surviving and thriving, thanks to these dedicated men and women.
