Season 7

Episodes

Ingen tyskere her
1940: Despite war and occupation, Amanda opens the doors for her first season as the new owner. Relieved to escape the German uniforms in the street, the guests return to the hotel. Madsen is the only one with an automobile, despite petrol rationing and driving bans. Mrs. Frigh is accompanied by her grown daughter, Bertha, whose head is filled with a secret infatuation, all the while Mrs. Frigh herself is more interested by the friendly gentleman they meet on the train. Everything is peaceful and there is no danger until Weyse's two boys cause problems with a couple of bathing German soldiers.

Samarbejde
Mrs. Weyse fears there will be great trouble when the Wehrmacht finds out that the youngest son in the family has stolen a service record from them. Weyse promises to get rid of the book, but that is not how the German herrenvolk play. Simultaneously Molin returns from Berlin with a very tempting offer for Madsen about a new collaboration with the Germans. But is it wise to say yes now that Denmark is occupied? Luckily, war and occupation do not put a hold on urges and the new guest Johan Ramsing continues to court Mrs. Frigh, just as a suitor suddenly appears for her daughter, Bertha.

Sommer, See und Sonnenschein
Forced to perform for the Germans in Skagen Weyse suddenly comes up with a genius idea of how to avoid it. However, the German lieutenant Kiessling is also a man of ideas. Additional pressure is put on the distressed actor when film director Gerhard Flügelhorn unexpectedly shows up to launch his anti-Nazi film project. Meanwhile, Mrs. Frigh enjoys the company of the sympathetic Johan Ramsing who is ready to offer sound advice on her business as well as on how she can handle her rebellious daughter. At the same time, Madsen is close to accepting work on the expansion of Aalborg Airport with the certainty of his wife's resistance being a passing phase.

Alsang og hærværk
When the minister of foreign affairs, Scavenius, expresses admiration for the great German victories Lydia Vetterstrøm believes the time has come to show national sentiment by joining in community singing. However, it is not easy to get everyone involved. Mrs. Frigh is only occupied with Johan Ramsing after having spent the night together in complete secrecy. Weyse rehearses for his film role in 'Havoc' together with the anti-Nazi Gerhard Flügelhorn, at the same time as he anxiously tries to hide that he has performed for the Germans in Skagen. And Madsen is struggling to get his wife to attend the banquet with the Wehrmacht in Aalborg, while Morten is trying to figure out who it is that helps the Germans with the expansion of the airport down there.

En herre fra København
Weyse's good spirits have recovered as the film that showed him performing for the Germans has been burned. However the joy does not last forever. Morten has found out that Madsen is helping the Germans with the extension of Aalborg Airport. Therefore, to obtain information for the English, he asks Ane to look for the construction plans in Madsen's room. Leslie arrives to bring his rebellious twin sister to her senses, but his encounter with Nana challenges him. Meanwhile Mrs. Frigh is impatiently waiting for Johan Ramsing to return from Copenhagen. When he finally arrives, he brings with him a somewhat surprising story.

Besat
The summer draws to an end and the guests prepare to travel back home. Madsen steadfastly refuses his wife's wish to back away from the construction of the airport in Aalborg for the Germans, while Weyse considers saying yes to the Danish-German cultural society in order to protect his job at the theatre. However, when Amanda straightforwardly rejects the German Lieutenant's advances, it leads a chain of events that turns every plan upside down. In the middle of it all, Ditmar's Nazi stepfather shows up to bring little Wilhelm home to Frijsenholm. And Leslie realizes that he cannot live without Nana.
