Belgian diver Vince arrives on Terschelling with his 15-year-old daughter Zoë for what seems like an innocent father-daughter vacation. The summer that was supposed to bring them closer takes a different turn on Terschelling. Because behind his smile lies a secret: he's come to Terschelling with a mission.

A failed dive backs Vince into a corner. As a storm washes items ashore, he frantically searches among the beachcombers for what he previously searched for underwater—and becomes increasingly entangled in his own lies to Zoë. Meanwhile, Zoë struggles with her father's distant behavior and her own lie. She feels increasingly alone.

Zoë and Wyb devise a way to help Vince, but their well-intentioned plan has unforeseen consequences for them and their loved ones. While Vince and Aafke grow closer, Vince dreams of a new beginning on Terschelling. Until the past catches up with him.

While Zoë is having the time of her life with her new vacation friends, Vince and Sergio are convinced the drugs are at The Black Flag. But the police have also finally planned a major raid.

Vince and Sergio become increasingly entangled in their lies after the fatal accident. While Gerrit and Wester begin to put the pieces of the puzzle together, tensions rise on Terschelling. Zoë and Wyb's well-intentioned plan threatens to spiral out of control and take on unusually large proportions.

Vince and Sergio desperately try to hide their secret. Meanwhile, Zoë and her friends are preparing a dangerous deal. On top of that, Gerrit is getting dangerously close to the truth.

A new player emerges from the shadows with only one goal: to clean up what went wrong. While the residents of Terschelling are increasingly drawn into the chaos Vince and Sergio have caused, Vince tries to get his daughter to safety as quickly as possible, hoping he's not too late.

The ultimate confrontation erupts on Terschelling, Vince tries to right the wrongs of the past and protect his daughter from the consequences of his choices.
