In the 1990s Peddapalli, Pushpa, a courtesan arrives and becomes entangled with Shivaya, the village Sarpanch. Simultaneously, a secret affair blossoms between Pushpa and Darshi, Shivaya's henchman. As their relationship deepens, Darshi expresses his desire to marry Pushpa. Surprisingly, Shivaya agrees, but just as Pushpa and Darshi prepare for their new life together, unforeseen circumstances force Darshi into a marriage with Lakshmi, while Pushpa resumes her role as Shivaya's courtesan.

Darshi and Lakshmi's marriage begins and over time, they slowly develop a bond, and Lakshmi becomes pregnant. Their happiness is shattered when Darshi is wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to seven years in prison. Upon his release, Darshi discovers the truth of his imprisonment. Unfortunately, he gets killed by Shivaya which plunges both Pushpa and Lakshmi into turmoil. Lakshmi and Pushpa unite in their sorrow, finding strength to seek revenge against the sarpanch's cruelty.
