Bakeaway Camp with Martha Stewart - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Welcome to Camp!
Six talented amateur bakers arrive for their first day at camp. Camp Director Martha Stewart and host Jesse Palmer present the campers with their first challenge: putting a unique spin on camping's quintessential dessert -- s'mores! Camp counselors Carla Hall and Dan Langan decide which baker earns a once-in-a-lifetime mentoring session with Martha herself in her own kitchen. The winner gets tips and tricks from Martha to help them in the next challenge, where the campers brave cooking in the outdoor kitchen to make layered desserts. Martha and the counselors decide which baker has risen to the challenge and which camper will be sent packing.

Bee Happy Campers
The five remaining campers wake up to mail call, and host Jesse Palmer delivers postcards from home that reveal two ingredients -- one sweet and one savory -- that the bakers must incorporate into a mouthwatering dessert for their first challenge. Camp counselors Carla Hall and Dan Langan decide which baker delivers the winning dessert and earns a one-on-one mentoring session with Martha Stewart at her farm. The winner gets Martha's personal tips and tricks on how to make decorative pies, and then in the Camp Director's Challenge, the campers have two hours to make their most beautifully decorated pie. When swarms of bees threaten the challenge, who will come out on top? Martha joins the counselors to choose the best pie and send another camper packing.

Suddenly Stormy
The four remaining campers are up bright and early for a breakfast-themed challenge from host Jesse Palmer. They must make an elevated breakfast treat using foraged ingredients like lavender, rosemary, lemon, honey and pine nuts. With guidance from camp counselors Carla Hall and Dan Langan, the campers vie to make a breakfast of champions and secure the final one-on-one mentoring session with Camp Director Martha Stewart. Then Jesse tasks the bakers with making a woodland-inspired decorated dessert. While the campers battle it out on a hot and humid summer day, a sudden storm drenches the kitchen. Martha and the counselors decide which camper got washed out and which campers persevered to move one step closer to the grand prize.

Farewell to Camp
Camp Director Martha Stewart joins host Jesse Palmer to present the three remaining campers with their biggest baking challenge yet: four hours to make a wedding cake gone wild! To inspire and help the bakers on their last day at camp, Martha gives them all a lesson on how to make the best wedding cake outdoors. Cooking in the wilderness inspires not only wild cakes but wilder weather as the campers race to build their masterpieces in the midst of a torrential downpour. As Jesse adds extra challenges to truly test the bakers' skill and resolve, it's up to Martha and camp counselors Carla Hall and Dan Langan to decide which camper will walk away with a $25,000 dream kitchen and the title of Bakeaway Camp Champion.
