With Alasdair at the prison to change Tormod's mind, a chance encounter with Claire gives another twist in the tale of what happened the night of the murder. With Cailean now on her side, Màiri is given a vote of confidence, but having planned to meet Isla at Pàdruig's house, she's surprised when Isla doesn't appear. Now that Sarah Jane is in hospital, Cailean's outlook on life has changed, and he and Isla finally share a bond. As Donna leaves for Glasgow, Iain deciding to go with her could scupper her trip.
