British retail is vastly-changing, and the face of Brits shopping habits has drastically changed in the last few years. After a struggle in the economy, there has been a boom in the discount retail sector. In the UK, shoppers are moving towards the pound stores, second-hand shops, and clearance sales- we are going so far as to buying in bulk to save a few pence. Bargain Fever Britain is a two part documentary series giving viewers access to the four major UK discount businesses who are managing to survive in a retail landscape where none of us want to pay the full price for products.

Bob's wife, Linda, stands by her man and often does so by bursting into song. Their eldest daughter, 13-year-old Tina has a slight obsession with boys and zombies. Middle child Gene is an aspiring musician with a thirst for life. Louise is the bunny ears-wearing youngest daughter with an off-kilter sense of humor that makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen – and with the public.
