British retail is vastly-changing, and the face of Brits shopping habits has drastically changed in the last few years. After a struggle in the economy, there has been a boom in the discount retail sector. In the UK, shoppers are moving towards the pound stores, second-hand shops, and clearance sales- we are going so far as to buying in bulk to save a few pence. Bargain Fever Britain is a two part documentary series giving viewers access to the four major UK discount businesses who are managing to survive in a retail landscape where none of us want to pay the full price for products.

In the second episode of the series, we will find out how our four discount businesses are doing during the high sales season. First, Black Friday hits the UK and there is chaos and scuffling in ASDA as the shoppers argue over TVs. In Newport at Motorpoint, Russ and his team of salesmen are struggling to sell cars. There is a Christmas rush at Costco, and the staff at Shoezone in Bradford attempt to set up entire Boxing Day sale within an hour.
