The Second season for the Men...and women of the 12th Precinct looks more closely at Women's Lib from various perspectives.
And yet, we still get all the laughs & heart as we've come to expect from Barney and his people.

A "human bomb" plans to self-destruct unless Barney arrests city officials & the Govenor.

The Social Worker
Elizabeth has Barney worried when she takes a job as a social worker in a tough section of the East Bronx.

The Layoff
Just as the precinct is having an upsurge in crime, Barney is ordered to suspend three officers as a result of the city's financial crisis.

Ambush
Yemana is sidelined by a gunshot wound that is more embarrassing than painful.

Heat Wave
Members of Barney's squad of detectives resort to wearing dresses during a heat wave to help women detectives Wentworth and Bailey catch a rapist.

The Arsonist
Harris looks to psychology for help in finding an arsonist plaguing the precinct; Chano arrests a man for shooting a candy machine.

Grand Hotel
Wojciehowicz and Wentworth check into a plush New York hotel posing as man & wife to discover who has been robbing the guests.

Discovery
One of Barney's detectives is accused of extortion by a member of the gay community.

You Dirty Rat
Barney's detectives are short two kilos of marijuana for the narcotics squad, and Wojo is bitten by a rat at the precinct house.

The Horse Thief
Chano brings in a man who was assaulted in his hotel room but insists he was alone and tries to figure out why he's lying. With bicentennial celebrations starting to ramp up, Barney and the detectives have to deal with an unusual array of suspects, Wojo and Yemana investigate a pair of horse thefts involving the NYPD Horse Unit and a hansom cab driver.

Rain
Due to torrential rain flooding the city, Barney and the detectives are concerned that the roof will collapse soon. Meanwhile, Chano and Harris bring in a nightclub comic, who incited a riot in the middle of his act.

Fish
Facing budget cuts, the city starts to shut down various precincts. As a result, detective Dietrich gets assigned to the twelfth, causing Fish to go on restricted duty. He then goes home for lunch to how life will be like once he has to retire.

Hot Dogs
The detectives of the twelfth precinct have to deal with a man who comes to fill out a missing persons report, convinced that his wife is Jean Harlow. Barney has to deal with a pair of overzealous women detectives who arrest a drug dealer on a college campus. Fish looks to his colleagues for advice on how to lose a little bit of weight.

Protection
Due to the city's budget constraints and concerns that the twelfth precinct could get shut down, Barney and the detectives learn that the neighborhood businesses have started paying protection money to area gangs. As a result, a criminal has a hard time turning himself in for a recent armed robbery.

Happy New Year
When Wojo and Yemana bring in a department store shoplifter, the situation gets rather tricky when they see that she's pregnant and soon goes into labor. Luckily, Barney's wife Liz arrives and is able to help the detectives deliver the woman's baby. Fish goes out on a call to stop a jumper, looking to broker peace in the Middle East.

The Sniper
After Wojo gets targeted by a sniper, Inspector Luger stops by the squad room to see how the investigation is going, and soon becomes a target himself. Fish then helps a husband file a complaint against a conman trying to sell a seat for flights to Saturn to his wife.

Fear of Flying
When Wojo has to transport a suspect to Cleveland, he admits to Barney he has a fear of flying, resulting in Barney offering to send another detective in his place. Fish assists an honest citizen when he turns in a wallet he found with a large amount of money in it.

Block Party
When Chano and Wentworth are assigned to crowd control at a block party in Manhattan South's neighborhood, Wentworth makes a collar of a would be assassin. She then gets furious when the detectives from Manhattan South takes credit for it. It's then up to Barney and Harris to smooth things over when Lt. Scanlon arrives at the twelft precinct and makes things worse. Fish and Yemana bring in a young man at a laundromat for indicent exposure while doing his laundry.

Massage Parlor
Fish and the detectives of the twelfth precinct are trying to find new ideas to help close down the massage parlors that are wreaking havoc on the reputable businesses on second avenue. Chano and Harris arrest a mugger who is in her eighties.

The Psychiatrist
Wojo and the other detectives have a psychiatrist pay the squad room a visit after a mugging suspect's public defender files a report alleging Wojo threatened his client during the arrest. He is less than thrilled when the psychiatrist recommends he be placed on restricted duty.

The Kid
After Fish brings in a young man after he tries to mug him, he soon becomes attracted to the boy's mother. The man who found $3500 in a wallet a few weeks prior comes to the squad room to see if the money has been claimed yet. Chano and Wojo bring in a suspect for attempted robbery at a hearing aid center.

The Mole
Chano and Yemana bring in a pair of suspects for disturbing the peace at a nearby hotel bar. Wojo and Harris are lead on a chase through the city's sewer system by a notorious jewel thief known as "The Mole." Meanwhile, Fish contemplates having minor surgery done and is surprised at how much the procedure will cost, even with insurance.
