Leap of Faith
C.J. returns to Baywatch after a vacation in France. She goes with Stephanie, Caroline, and even the devious Neely tags along on a girls' Junior Lifeguard weekend training trip to Catalina. They try to teach the girls the value of teamwork after two ignore Stephanie's orders about cave exploring and become trapped by the rising tide. Meanwhile, Mitch gains guardianship of Joey Jennings, the young con artist from "Silent Night, Baywatch Night," who comes to live with him and Hobie after her mother Kyla suddenly dies and dreams of becoming a lifeguard like Mitch. He starts the adoption process for Joey.
