River of No Return
Mitch, Hobie, Eddie, and Shauni end up on a treasure hunt in Northern California when Mitch's gold-mining uncle dies, leaves behind a mysterious map, and may have found the golden boot. Eddie and Shauni are having problems in their relationship, and a singer is looking for a job in L.A. Pamela Anderson (as C.J. Parker) makes her first appearance in this two-part episode. Drew shoots at the raft. Shauni is taken hostage and pushed off the cliff. After Eddie and Mitch save her, she finds out she's not pregnant. Eddie proposes to her. Mitch climbs down with the help of a rope and finds the golden boot; Jed arrives at the trailer. Eddie marries Shauni, and they move to Australia.

Tequila Bay
Mitch is shocked when Baywatch's new lieutenant, Lt. Stephanie Holden, turns out to be his former lover. New lifeguard Matt Brody investigates a violent gang of surfers wanting to take over part of the beach.

Rookie of the Year
Matt and Summer experience the physical and mental challenges of the lifeguard rookie school as the lifeguards compete against each other. Stephanie and C.J. end up as roommates, and things get complicated for them.

Pier Pressure
Hobie weaves a web of lies to impress a girl (Juliet Sorcey). Summer is humiliated when she mistakes an offhand invitation from Jimmy Slade for a date. Two girls give Summer a hard time when she catches them drinking tequila on the beach.

Showdown at Malibu Beach High
The love strings between Courtney (Elizabeth Berkley), Slade, and Summer are pulled tight. C.J. accepts a position at Malibu Beach High. Matt and Summer help a Chumash Indian classmate fight the sale of sacred tribal land. Garner decides he doesn't want to be a beach cop anymore.

Point Doom
Matt's new motorcyclist girlfriend Jessie challenges another biker named Hudson to a race on the cliffs above Malibu at Point Doom. Hudson sabotages her bike, and she's seriously hurt. Matt challenges Hudson to a race to investigate his involvement in Jessie's accident. Meanwhile, Mitch trains to beat Stephanie in a race with Garner as his coach.

Princess of Tides
Paddleboarding, C.J. is almost run over in a powerboat race, causing Mitch and Newmie to finish but not win. A visiting European princess, Catherine, does not realize the danger she is in when she sneaks away from her family to spend a day on the beach. She's engaged to businessman James Lewiston, but her ruthless bodyguard Roland kidnaps her.

Masquerade
Mitch and Stephanie go undercover as two wealthy individuals to stop murderous pirates from taking over Baywatch.

Lifeguards Can't Jump
Mitch and Stephanie discover a dead man on some rocks. So, Garner and Mitch go undercover as basketball players to investigate the young athlete's suspicious drowning. C.J. meets a couple on their honeymoon named Dennis and Arlene. Unfortunately, Dennis falls in love with C.J. and deceives both her and his wife.

Dead of Summer
A hot day brings a rock concert, a gubernatorial speech, and crowds of people to the beach, creating the perfect cover for an assassination attempt at a pier. Three bad guys plan to blow the pier using C.J.'s Scarab. Meanwhile, Garner meets his sister's old friend Wendi.

A Matter of Life and Death
When his parents visit, Mitch's father, Al, wants him to take over the family architectural firm since Al is dying of lymphoma. They have an ongoing conflict over Mitch's choice of career. Meanwhile, Summer develops a fear of entering the water and must tell Jackie about her horrible nightmares.

Island of Romance
C.J. and Stephanie go to Catalina for their women-only-weekend. As they encounter handsome men and danger, the trip does not go according to plan. Hobie and Mitch agree to hire a housekeeper.

Strangers Among Us
A diamond smuggler named Dirk looks for loot he hid in one of Jimmy Slade's surfboards when he returns from winning a surfing competition in Australia. UFO observers await the arrival of aliens on the beach, driving the lifeguards crazy.

Vacation (1)
Guido tells Mitch that he has started a new business called Windows by Guido; a Captain named Rolf Angstrom visits headquarters; a drug dealer escapes.

Vacation (2)
Stephanie is shot off the cruise boat by a drug dealing women and Mitch jumps in to save her. They struggle to stay afloat in the water; Matt and C.J. win big in the casino; Summer gets worried when she can not find Mitch.

The Tower
A psychopath murderer named Jacob Kilmer escapes from prison and takes Stephanie and Summer hostage in a lifeguard tower. Hobie makes a periscope for his science class.

Stakeout at Surfrider Beach
Mitch helps an Italian movie actress who ruthless robbers are stalking. He decides to help her capture them and finds himself falling for her. Meanwhile, Summer and C.J. help Guido pretend to be a lifeguard to impress his visiting mother.

Shattered (1)
During the rescue of three teens trapped on a reef, Mitch severely injures his spine after a huge wave forces him into a rock. His doctor reports that he may be a paraplegic for life. Mitch goes to a recovery hospital where he befriends Jason, a disabled 10-year-old boy soon revealed to be a murder witness in a relocation program. Hobie, Stephanie, and Sophie, his physical therapist, rally to repair his shattered life. Meanwhile, the hitman Riddick and a drug kingpin arrive in town to kill Jason before he can testify against the gangsters responsible for the murder he witnessed.

Shattered (2)
Paralyzed during a heroic rescue, Mitch undergoes a vigorous rehabilitation regimen. While he struggles to walk again, he becomes increasingly angry and frustrated at not being able to use his legs. He pushes away Hobie and even Stephanie, who offers him support. Only Ben Edwards can relate to Mitch with his own walking disability. Meanwhile, the hitman Riddick sent to kill Jason plans one last attempt to murder the boy at the hospital swimming pool, and Mitch is the only one nearby who can save him.

Kicks
Matt enters a kickboxing tournament with Mitch as his coach, while Summer becomes interested in knowing more about Matt's competitor, Steve Thorn. But things take a turn when Michael Branson, an old rival of Mitch's during his days as a Navy SEAL, shows up. He plans a kickboxing showdown of his own between them since Branson still holds a personal grudge against Mitch for having him discharged from the service. Meanwhile, C.J. falls for a French photographer in town for a swimsuit photoshoot who inspires her to model for him.

Fatal Exchange
A brash new Australian lifeguard named Wiley Brown arrives at Baywatch on an exchange program. He and Mitch don't get along because of Wiley's self-serving ways of lifeguarding. He is also flirting with Kaye Morgan, who is now debating with herself whether to start dating Mitch after he finally asks her to dinner. Mitch is also troubled by a bad memory of a failed rescue attempt of a female windsurfer who died in Australia ten years ago. When Mitch is the victim of a series of life-threatening "accidents," he correctly begins to suspect Wiley, whose wife was the windsurfer.
