Ann Widdecombe and Russell Grant unite in the ballroom for an unforgettable dance-off in a very special Strictly Come Dancing.

Next up is a world exclusive, as Children In Need reveals the first glimpse of the Doctor and his brand new companion together for the first time as we have a peek at the Doctor Who Christmas special. Choir supremo Aled Jones has the daunting task of uniting thousands of children all over the UK to sing live in a mass nationwide choir. Plus Pudsey Bear gets to dance with his new namesake - Pudsey the dog, winner of Britain's Got Talent 2012.

We have another world exclusive - the return of Britain's biggest girl band, Girls Aloud, who perform the CIN single Something New live on stage.
9.30-10.00
Zara Phillips, Tom Daley, Ellie Simmonds and a host of stars from London 2012 do their thing in a fun-filled music video, and Susan Boyle and Girls Aloud perform in the studio.

Appeal Night: Part 2
The 2012 marathon fundraising spectacular continues with a special Children in Need edition of Sarah Millican's Television Programme plus more music from the hottest boy band around - One Direction.

Appeal Night: Part 3

The X Factor winners Little Mix kick start the party back on BBC One. And the Top Gear team entertain the BBC newsreaders to find out who is the fastest in a reasonably priced car.
11.00-11.30
Lee Mack stars in a Children In Need Not Going Out special, and Leona Lewis sings live. Plus a round-up of Children in Need fundraising parties taking place all over the UK.
11.30-12.00
We finally discover what actually happened to Pudsey Bear's eye, with a little help from Misery Bear and Geri Halliwell.
12.00-1.30
More excitement in the studio, as both Paloma Faith and Tim Minchin sing for Pudsey.

The Best Bits
A look back at an evening of fun and fundraising in aid of disadvantaged children all over the UK. The stars of Strictly Come Dancing, Doctor Who and EastEnders, as well as London 2012's Team GB, Girls Aloud and One Direction were just some of those doing their bit for the 2012 appeal.
In addition, Britain's Got Talent winner Pudsey the dog performed a dance-off with Children in Need namesake Pudsey Bear and, in a night of musical treats, Aled Jones brought together a choir of children from all over the UK for a massive nationwide performance of Bridge Over Troubled Water.
