Final

Howard Goodall and Clemency Burton-Hill introduce the final of BBC Young Musician 2010 from the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, as the biennial competition reaches its climax.
Since the competition was first started by the BBC back in 1978 it has launched the careers of some of the UK's leading performers. Previous winners include Natalie Clein, Freddie Kempf, Nicola Benedetti and Peter Moore, who triumphed in 2008 and makes a guest appearance at this final.
Over 300 young musicians entered the 2010 competition and after four rounds of competition just three remain. In this final each will perform a concerto of their choice with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales conducted by Vasily Petrenko in front of a distinguished panel of adjudicators. This year's competition has already produced some memorable moments and the final promises to be no different. Expect high tension, drama and some exceptional music-making.
