Backyard BBQ
Bobby Flay and Michael Symon suss out the talents of eight elite barbecue masters, but before choosing teams, they face off in a backyard barbecue challenge to determine who gets first pick. The eight contenders serve up backyard barbecue dishes to a trio of expert judges, and two contenders are sent home.

High Steaks
Bobby Flay and Michael Symon battle it out in a tomahawk rib-eye challenge with high "steaks," as the winner gets an advantage that could affect the entire competition. Then the six remaining contenders face off in a Texas beef challenge, and a curve ball sends them running for the border.

Winging It
In their biggest competition yet, Bobby Flay and Michael Symon try to best each other in a regional barbecue challenge with a major advantage. The final four pitmasters are tasked with cooking a style of barbecue unique to an area of the country, and a mid-challenge twist has them making big decisions on the fly.

Going Whole Hog
The competition started with eight of the world's greatest barbecue pitmasters, and it's down to the final two. Bobby Flay and Michael Symon transform from mentors to sous chefs in a barbecue battle for the ages. But when the sun sets on Star Hill Ranch, only one competitor can walk way with their own digital series and lay claim to the title Master of 'Cue.

The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
