The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Theatre, more commonly known as the Tony Awards, recognizes achievement in live Broadway theatre. The awards are given for Broadway productions and performances, and an award is given for regional theatre.

Days of our Lives is set in the fictitious Midwestern town of Salem. The core families are the Bradys, the Hortons and the DiMeras, and the multi-layered storylines involve elements of romance, adventure, mystery, comedy and drama.
