Fiction in five episodes, Béliveau traces the life of the famous No. 4 and former captain of the Montreal Canadiens, Jean Béliveau, marked Quebec. Symbol of success, both social and professional, the gentleman of hockey, star, businessman, husband and father was admired and respected by all. Constantly under pressure, this hockey legend endowed with an extraordinary strength of character has been able to recover from numerous injuries. Between 1950 and 1971, revisit the pivotal moments in the career of this national hero from Victoriaville: his debut in Quebec City with the Citadelle then with the Quebec Aces, his role as captain of the Montreal Canadiens and his ten Stanley Cup conquests. Considered one of the greatest hockey players of the time, young people sought to imitate him on the ice while older people saw in him a model of loyalty, righteousness and resilience to inspire.
