Banker Karel falls for it, but also gets drunk and touches Angele, so Gaston spills the beans and offers to return his check, but he prefers to go along with what still constitutes a mighty prank to pull on socialite friends. Grandma sends news from Spain: she managed to buy Gaston's Benidorm apartment for him, but also bought the neighboring one for herself.
