Besatt - Season 1

Four boys are found dead in an abandoned pool and detectives Sander Holm and Max Sørensen are investigating the case. They soon discover that a fifth boy is involved, who has now disappeared without a trace.

It turns out that the fifth boy, Jabrill, can be linked to a murder case that Max's wife Asha has been working on, and that Jabrill had a suspected visitor just before he disappeared.

The killed law student turns out to have links to prostitution. A tip leads Max to a secret place in the forest, where he finds something unexpected.

The door must be inspected by a special force before the investigation can continue. Max questions Sanders' tactics. Sander confronts Bo, and Asha wonders what her client Magnus is hiding.

Max acts in pure anger and risks his career. Max admits to Asha why he feels guilty for his son's death. Max and Sander are looking for a human trafficker.

Both Sander and Max experience violent hallucinations that become reality. The investigation of Sander continues, and the pictures of him in the home of the trafficker are given an unexpected explanation.

The investigation turns out to have greater links to Sanders' past than first thought. Asha wonders if her marriage can be saved. Bo admits the truth about his brain damage.

Max and Sander confront Noah, who sends them to the sea where they are both forced to face the nightmares that haunt them. Bo follows them to the sea.
