Valerie gets a date with the FBI agent, who considers a transfer to Los Angeles. Clare rejects Carl's overtures because she is in love with Steve. Joan and Nat are shocked to learn that she is pregnant. When they try to share the news with Brandon, Nat instead announces their engagement. David and Donna get carried away while drinking on the ship, as she proves that she still cannot handle her champagne. They later decide to give their relationship another try.
