Set against the idyllic backdrops of Devon and Cornwall, there are plenty of cases to keep the team on their toes, including a body found in the river on the county border, a baffling chocolate box poisoning, a historic farming feud and a spiking incident on the water.
Away from the police station, Martha and Humphrey must overcome unexpected hurdles as foster parents, while the reappearance of Martha's old flame Archie presents an unexpected challenge. While Esther navigates a surprise encounter in her private life, a health scare for Anne stirs up painful memories, and Kelby embarks on a journey of personal growth.

When a body is found in the river on the county border between Devon and Cornwall, Humphrey and Esther are thrown in at the deep end, having to work alongside their Cornish counterparts. While their rivals are quick to brush off the death as a tragic accident, Humphrey's instincts tell him there may be more lurking under the surface.
Meanwhile, Martha has her hands full as Ten Mile Kitchen expands to a bigger and bolder venue. With the demands of their careers ever-growing, Martha and Humphrey start to consider what their future may hold.

A local chocolatier falls under suspicion after three customers are poisoned by her confections. The team must work quickly to uncover the culprit before public panic spreads.

An old sailing rivalry resurfaces at the regatta when a sailor collapses mid-race. A tampered smoothie is identified as the cause, casting suspicion on Martha.
Episode 5
The myth of the Cornman turns real when a masked figure strikes a local farm. With the farm's future at risk, can Humphrey unmask the saboteur before their livelihood is wiped out?

When nurse Lucy vanishes on her way to work, suspicion falls on Josh Woods – Kelby's rival. But could the legend of the Devil's Hump hold a vital clue to solving her disappearance?
