Big and Small - Season 1

Big feels that there's something missing from his house until his first-ever visitor arrives.

Big decides to help Small by building him a teeny tiny front door, but Small liked the big door much more.

Small sees a fish in the garden pond and wants to keep it in a bowl, but Big thinks fish are better left in the water.

Big invents a machine which tidies away Small's things. Small is not happy and decides to live somewhere else.

When Big is building his latest invention, a Sunshine Catcher, he loses the doohickey that the machine needs to work.

Small asks Big to pick the juiciest apple on the tree, but the apple is home to a talkative green worm.

Small is scared by Big's favourite toy, so he secretly buries it in the garden. Will Big forgive him?

Small is excited when a storm arrives because he wants to see lightning, but Big hides under the stairs for safety.

Big leaves the house and puts Small in charge, but leaves a very long list of things Small should not do. 

Big and Small hear sounds one night and find Ruby practising a new song she has written about how lovely the Moon is.

Big is annoyed when Small cuts up his hosepipe to use as a rope in his rodeo show. To repay him, Small helps Big water the garden.

Small makes a new pet called Fang out of an old sock and pieces of macaroni. Big puts it into the washing machine by mistake.

Big takes Small into the garden one evening to look at the stars, which he thinks are beautiful and magical.

Big is working hard on his latest invention, a Good Luck Machine, but Small thinks it is actually giving them bad luck.

Big has a cold. A really bad, stay-in-bed cold. Small offers to nurse Big, but he is not one of life's natural carers. 

Big accidentally whacks a ball into the Mysterious Woods. Small is fascinated by these woods, so the pair explore them.

Small is determined to find out the fun surprise that Big is planning for him, while planning a surprise of his own. 

Big sleeps with his beloved stuffed T-Rex and sings it a song at bedtime, but Small is jealous and wants his own toy.

Big's prize tomato has finally ripened. It is big and red and beautiful, and Small thinks it will taste really great.

Big and Small decide to paint a portrait of Ruby, but they have very different styles of painting.

Twiba hears a magpie boast about the treasure it has hidden in the garden, and asks Big and Small to help her look for it. 

Big and Ruby try to write a poem about a sweet little songbird but Small interrupts. They send him into the kitchen.

Small is confused about the difference between a worm and a caterpillar, and tells Twiba she will turn into a butterfly.

Big and Small are snowed into the house. Big is happy to stay indoors, but Small is frustrated at being stuck inside.

One evening they hear a strange noise outside and Small is convinced it is the Gwelf, a creature from his story book. 

Big and Small are excited because it snowed overnight. Big wants to toboggan down the hill on his sledge, Daffodil.
