Jack is a sheltered, closeted boy 19-year-old from Watford, trying to get over his dad's death and work out what he wants from life. Arriving at Brent University, he is thrown together with typical lad Danny, a few years older than the other freshers and confronting the demons of mental health.

I Wanna Take You to a Gay Bar!
Jack and Danny try to find their individual crowds during freshers' week while being banned from partying in halls. However, a night out with fashion student Yemi leads to them both getting far more than they bargained for.

Merry Sexmas
Christmas finds the first years encouraged to create work for Jules's Sexual Health Awareness Week Showcase. Meanwhile, Jack and Danny each try to face up to their own sexual shortcomings.

Dad, I Did Drugs
A still-grieving Jack tries to become more like his famously adored father, Corinne attempts to loosen up, and Danny conducts an experiment with the help of campus dealer Ash. Down at the local pub, the results cause some very messy outcomes for all involved.

What a Bummer
A frustrated Jack attempts to lose his V-plates, a pushy Shannon encourages Peggy to get back on the romantic market and Yemi campaigns to be elected LGBTQIA+ society president. Meanwhile, Corinne tries to help Danny get back on his feet.

The Letter
Jack moves back home for the summer holidays, desperate for Danny to get in touch following his disappearance. After a chaotic family lunch to celebrate Jack's homecoming, Jack and Peggy return to the house with a series of surprises, testing their inseparable bond for the very first time.
