They had been told to expect the unexpected and sure enough Big Brother stayed true to his word. After all 12 contestants entered the house the voting lines were opened and viewers were encouraged to vote out the contestant they wanted to leave. Although unlike most evictions, the public didn't have the last word, the housemates did with the two people with most votes being up for eviction the housemates must choose which of the two would go. Tonight's episode saw the housemates evict Lynne over Jade. In the later edition of the show we saw Lynne evicted. The awaiting crowed outside booed and hissed at her as she made her way to the studio, where she gave a frank interview about who she got on mist well with, who she didn't and how she feels about being the first contestant to be voted out of the most infamous house in Britain.
