Emma Willis opens the door to the Big Brother house, allowing this year's housemates to enter. But while things may appear to be straight forward, Big Brother will ensure that no-one will have the entire picture. The Housemates are not alone and they should be prepared for paranoia and suspicion. Six normal housemates enter the house. We then go to the other house were six Others are introduced, they are told they are not normal housemates and have to earn their place in the main house. The other six normal housemates then enter. Big Brother then asks the 12 new residents to place themselves behind podiums in the garden that have a descriptive word on them. The others are then told to choose one of these words and that housemate will be targeted, they choose the word 'Sexy'. Laura is the housemate who placed herself behind the sexy podium, so she is told she is now up for eviction and that she has to choose another housemate. She chooses Lateysha to also be up for eviction.
