In the first episode of this new series, follow a baby turtle in Canada and a young bushbaby in South Africa as they search for a safe new home.
In Canada, a newly hatched turtle, the size of a walnut, is on a quest to find a lake she can call home. But her mother chose an unconventional spot to nest in – beside Highway 60 in Algonquin Provincial Park. She ventures through a forest of giants in search of the lake where she will spend the next 50 years, or more, of her life.
In South Africa, after a young male bushbaby is kicked out by his family, he must journey into the unknown to find a new home. He is drawn towards a world of light in his quest to find a home. Will he find a new home and a new family?

Episode 2
A Taiwanese pangolin travels through a land of giants to seek a mate, and in Brazil a family of tamarins travel to the edge of their world to seek a new future alongside humans.

Episode 3
A tiny chameleon faces the journey of a lifetime in a Madagascan forest, and a watervole in Scotland swims across a loch and scales a mountain to find a new territory and a mate.
