Tong Ming, Ip Ching and Oi-ling discuss open brain surgery. Oi-ling is designated as chief surgeon as she is really certain about her approach to complete removal of tumor in the brain. While Oi-ling and Yat-to casually talk about surgery, Oi-ling abruptly brings out a wedding ring and asks Yat-to to put it on for her. Tong Ming returns home and sees sticky notes left behind by Zoe So. Tong Ming feels touched and also sad. Oi-ling begins the operation. Ip Ching keeps her company as a gesture of support. But she is also worried about the extreme surgical risks. Tong Ming and Ip Ching turn up at LegCo and wait for LegCo members to vote on the bill’s budget. Fast-forward six months and Ip Ching, in her capacity as Convener of the Bill, is interviewed by Cheung Ting. She delineates her views on Healthcare Reform.
