A Bird That Doesn't Cry is a melodrama centered on Oh Ha-nui, a woman whose life collapses after she becomes entangled in a high-stakes insurance murder case. What begins as a sudden family tragedy grows into a destructive chain of lies, greed, and betrayal.

As Ha-nui loses the stability and relationships she once relied on, she discovers that a woman named Chun Mi-ja stands at the heart of the events that ruined her life. Determined not to remain a victim, Ha-nui sets out to uncover the truth behind the crime and confront the people who exploited her pain for their own gain.

The story follows her journey through revenge, complicated loyalties, and the emotional cost of pursuing justice in a world where everyone has something to hide.
