This debut episode includes the tale of two drunk Dubliners who stole a trawler to get back to Ireland after missing the last ferry home from Holyhead; the case of a man whose day trip from Wales to Skegness involved a drink and drug-fuelled raid on a sex shop, which culminated in him stealing a mannequin after he took a liking to the French maid's outfit it was wearing; and how the theft of a giant tortoise from a Cornish pet sanctuary sparked a nationwide media campaign.

Episode 2
Featuring a wannabe robber who was found naked in a supermarket chimney; the case of an owl kidnapped to cash in on a Harry Potter-inspired craze; and a couple who hatched a surreal scam to dodge a 120 pound speeding fine which cost them over 10,000 pounds and involved a European round trip and a bogus Bulgarian.

Episode 3
Featuring the story of the gang who used a mechanical digger to smash and grab an ATM from the bank of a quiet Lincolnshire village; the tale of a conman and bigamist who was wanted for multiple fraud charges while juggling two wives and a girlfriend in different parts of the UK; and how a surreal plan to get off a speeding fine backfired when police called in the help of an expert who usually reconstructs the faces of murder victims.

Featuring the tale of two drunk Sunderland lads who, after a boozy day out in South Shields, decided to steal a pedalo to sail seven miles down the coast after missing the last tram home; the story of how police uncovered an international plot to smuggle rare falcon eggs out of Birmingham airport; and the case of a man whose identity was a mystery to his own wife and children, after he spent years using a false name and claiming to be the Earl of Buckingham.

Episode 5
Featuring the Doncaster family man who turned fire bomber to outwit a speed camera he thought would cost him his licence and his job; the story of how a master of incredibly daft disguises pulled off a lucrative, countrywide driving test scam; and the case of the Derbyshire couple who were tormented by a neighbour's strange campaign of harassment that involved him hiding behind his hedge to shout, cough and whistle.

Episode 6
Featuring the robber caught on CCTV in Bristol crawling into a charity recycling bin to steal the clothes inside; the story of how a Manchester student made odd and ingenious use of the latest technology to track down the thief who had stolen his mobile phone; and one of the most baffling cases on record, involving a strange, shadowy conspiracy to steal the Enigma coding machine from Bletchley Park.

Featuring the case of a Nottingham criminal who committed the perfect burglary, but then got caught after he returned to the scene and dropped his chips, leaving crucial DNA evidence; the story of how Bournemouth was terrorised by a strange spate of attacks on over 2,000 car tyres; and the tale of the man who had the bright idea of robbing a CCTV store.

The Neighborhood
