Isagi Yoichi, a first-year forward, receives an invitation for Blue Lock. It's a facility to train one world's greatest striker so that Japan can win the World Cup. Isagi and 11 others are assembled in a small room, and they take their first test to decide which of them get to move in to the dorm.

After Isagi hit Kira with the ball at the last second, the latter is eliminated from the Blue Lock. When Isagi asks Bachira why he passed to him, Bachira says that the monster in him told him to do it.
Soccer's "Zero"
The first selection is coming up and Isagi has to compete with his Team Z against Team X. Can the 11 strikers get together and stand up as a united team against the other team?
