In Ohio, police try to rescue a woman trapped in a sinking car which puts an officer's life in danger. In Florida, a high-speed pursuit ends in a swamp, where the suspect shoots at police and escapes. Specialist units set out to locate the criminal.

On the Brink
In Ohio, officers respond when a man brandishes a knife in a store; in Georgia, police launch a manhunt after a suspect escapes in his truck, leaving an officer down.

An undercover FBI investigation uncovers a plot to murder lawyers and politicians; in Florida, a man throws himself into alligator-infested waters to evade arrest.

Get Out
In Wisconsin, police respond to a burglary in progress, but the suspects flee; a woman in Texas makes a desperate call to 911 from inside a burning building; the streets turn deadly when the driver of a stolen vehicle tries to get away.

In the Shadows
Police chase a known criminal through the dangerous Ocala National Forest; in Michigan, a spree of home invasions escalates into a three-day manhunt.

The Fugitive
Following a high-speed pursuit, officers dive for cover as a car races through their crime scene; a suspect hides on a dense mangrove island to evade police.
