At the clinic, three month old rescue puppy Tyson is being fostered by a family for just one week. But when foster Mum Melissa takes the puppy to Chris for a routine check-up she is confronted with terrible news - Tyson needs major heart surgery or he will die. Despite the expense, the family decides to adopt Tyson because they know no one else will give him a home in his condition. Will Tyson survive the open heart surgery and have a happy future with his new family?

First, he must treat the hit and run victim but then it becomes his mission to track down their owners and prevent them going to an animal shelter. The trouble is Chris is bonding with the puppies and is going to find it hard to let go.
