Nell'attesa di cominciare la nuova avventura di Machiavelli René accetta di girare la puntata pilota di Troppo Frizzante, sitcom prodotta dalla concorrenza. Insieme a Duccio e Arianna si reca a Milano e si trova catapultato in un paradiso/inferno di fica e soldi, comici di bassa lega e una sceneggiatura senza senso dalla quale decide di scappare a gambe levate. Il giorno seguente escogita uno stratagemma e torna a Roma per una riunione in Rete, dove fa la conoscenza di Claudio, un giovane executive che gli propone un progetto destinato a rivoluzionare la tv italiana: Medical dimension. Intanto Alessandro, rimasto senza lavoro, raggiunge a sorpresa Arianna a Milano.
