Bridal Mask - Season 1

Season 1
Bridal Mask (Gaksital) is a famous manhwa set in the 1930s during the Japanese occupation. The hero, Lee Kang-to, is known as 'Gaksital' because he wears a mask to hide his face — one of those traditional play masks, specifically the rosy-cheeked one reserved for the female role, aka the bride. He's an unassuming young man in real life, but when he dons his superhero mask, he fights injustice and rights wrongs during one of the darkest periods of Korea's history.

Episodes

Episode 1
Japan took control over Korea in the 30s and there is only one person willing to try and fight for justice. Wearing just a traditional bridal masks, he thinly veils his true identity, however most of the citizens are afraid of everyone due to the power of fascists.

Episode 2
Police is confused after having two vigilantes. Meanwhile, Mr Kimura gets a gift from Seon Hwa that includes a special knife. Kang To is double crossed for murder and accused of wearing the bridal mask.

Episode 3
Bridal Mask appears just in time to rescue a woman, which is planned for execution. Due to her escape, the commanding officer has been accused to cooperate with bridal mask. Due to this accusation, he vows to do whatever it takes to find bridal mask.

Episode 4
Kang To corners a man in a bridal mask, while he whispers to him that he is his brother. Kang to has a lot of questions, although his brother hasn't planned to tell him about his past life and still pretends to be mentally ill. Boon Yi tells the story of the importance of that specific knife.

Episode 5
Siding with the Japanese as a Joseon people, young police detective Kang To is always at danger, even during festivals. The Japanese give him every tool to catch Bridal mask.

Episode 6
The brother of Kang To has been accused of being Bridal mask by the superintendent, while his screaming mother is protecting him to the death.

Episode 7
Kang To is mourning when he discovers that he killed his own brother. Despite the fact that everyone may think that Bridal mask has been killed, nothing could be further from the truth. Due to several occurences afterwards, there has been a new rebel appearing as Bridal Mask, which will make a life changing move.

Episode 8
Kang To changed his name into Sato Hiroshi. His power within the Police system is so extreme that he has been told to consider the Japanese emperor to be his new father. The Plot thickens when it has been revealed that Bridal Mask may have a companion. Things are also falling apart between the chief and his son when the truth about Boon Yi's knife is revealed by Kang To.

Episode 9
Shunji has replaced his former brother as Superintendent and has been honoured for killing Bridal Mask, but he is worried about being in the same unit as Kang To. This feeling fades when they become partners and rivals in Martial Arts.

Episode 10
Shunji has been released and directly arrest Kangto for treason. Regardless the story is different and a secret Bridal Mask plan is slowly being built as Mok Dan has been frequently saved by Bridal Mask. She is now being harassed by them to lure Bridal Mask.

Episode 11
Despite having a personal connection with Mok Don, Shunji has been ordered to use her as bait to catch Gaksital by General Kimura, although Shunji vowed to protect her life no matter what.

Episode 12
Bridal Mask attempts to protect those that are loyal to him and he barely escapes an attack. Shunji found a way to discover about Bridal Mask's true identity, but unfortunately the man dies in front of him. Mok Dan tries to escape Seoul.

Episode 13
Kimura Taro, Shunji and Koise are becoming more suspicious of Kang To and decide to hide as much as possible from him. Meanwhile Dam Sa Ri has been caught.

Episode 14
Anna, which accompanied Dam Sa Ri to the celebration of Japan's annexation detonated an explosion to try to kill some members of importance. Due to this Kimura Taro has been discharged, but that does not withhold him to feed Shunji's suspicions.

Episode 15
Shunji becomes very suspicious of Kang To after overhearing him using Mok Dan's childhood name. Shunji sets a trap to catch him.

Episode 16
Kang To is able to get rid of all accusations after declaring his love for Mok Dan. As Kang To is interrogated by Shunji, his testimony reveals more than he bargained for.

Episode 17
Kang To makes plans to rescue Dam Sa Ri and to find Mok Dan as Shunji has been hiding her from him to prevent her from being killed.

Episode 18
He reveals Mok Dan the reason for putting on the mask, while he is healing. Her trip to the hotel is meant to protect him, but he ends up going missed from the post.

Episode 19
Jong Ro Police station has been in chaos after Dam Sa Ri's escape. Kang To tries to discover the power behind Shunji, but the new chief is proving to be more of an obstacle than help to him.

Episode 20
Koiso tells Shunji that Kenji was responsible for the death of Kang To's mother and makes him being even more suspicious of Kang To. Ra Ra has a great opportunity to end things once and for all, but is she able to do it?

Episode 21
Ra Ra begs Kang to to quit being bridal mask to save him, but he ignores her beg and continues. Dam Sa Ri has plans to retun with their leader.

Episode 22
Ra Ra has been given another opportunity to catch Gaksital when Shunji is assigned to capture Yang Baek. However Shunji has not been planning to leave Gaksital alone, but use him for bait to catch Yang Baek.

Episode 23
Shunji finally discovers the true identity of Gaksital when he was unconsious, however pretends that he doesn't know it in order to catch Yang Baek and Dong Ji. Ra Ra makes a complete different approach to save Kang To and goes to Mok Dan and begs to run away with him.

Episode 24
Dong Jin's squad member Deuk Soo is caught, but instructed by Kang To to give false information to Shunji about a future attack. Meanwhile Mok Dan discovers Shunji's know abouts of Gaksital and warns Kang To.

Episode 25
Kang To is trying to outsmart Shunji and pretends like he know nothing about Shunji's knowledge about Gaksital. While Kang to continues with his plan to steal weapons from the police station's armory.

Episode 26
While Kang To has been imprisoned, the death squad has plans to break him out. Dam Sa Ri says his goodbye's to his daughter.

Episode 27
Gaksital kills Kimura for killing his father, while Shunji catches him in the act. Once they were as close as brothers, but what will become of them?

Episode 28
Shunji manages to interrupt the wedding with his combined force of soldiers and agents. Many lives are lost, but were all those deaths worth it? Is Kang To able to continue?
