Bronx SIU - Season 1

In the opening episode, we are thrown head first into the world of SIU. Jimmy Blue, lead detective, Yolanda Rodriguez and the team's computer specialist, Tessa is brought in to solve a gruesome case of decapitation. With no time to waist and the body count rising, they dive into the clues in a desperate search for the killer. If this were not enough, Internal Affairs is circling around Jimmy and his former partner Darius, accusing them of being dirty cops, asking questions about a dead cop and a missing bag of Albanian mob money. As the personal lives of the team slowly come apart the Detectives have to overcome multiple obstacles to solve the case before the killer can claim another victim.

A nun has been murdered, a community shattered and everyone's faith in humanity is put to the test. The case pushes the team to their limits, as community outrage begins to rise. Yolanda finds herself questioning her path in life as her inner demons come calling, threatening to reveal a dark secret. Jimmy is haunted by his memories of war. Darius has his loyalties tested as Internal Affairs intensifies their pressure.

A new detective, Tarik, joins the team after lending a hand in their last case. The Mayor's son is missing and SIU is brought in to solve the case quietly and quickly. Clues lead to an underground gambling ring and an elite criminal organization, The Dragon's Shadow. Jimmy calls on an old friend, Han, high within the Dragon's Shadow organization to help with the case. Tarik learns that the world of SIU is not so simple and Yolanda goes missing.

After the success of their last several cases, the reputation of the SIU is growing and they have earned the attention of New York Cities top officials including high ranking members of the United State government. When a former Russian diplomate ends up dead the SIU team is called in for a particular reason. Suddenly, the team finds themselves being pawns in an international conspiracy involving Russian money laundering, CIA spooks and former KGB hitmen. Yolanda is back, but a rift has formed between her and Jimmy as he attempts to ostracize her during the case. Tarik questions Jimmy's violent methods. Darius and Internal Affairs meet in secret.

A new designer drug is killing kids. Jimmy and his team dig and in turn the city upside down looking for the dealer. Once again Jimmy turns to Han, but he's holding back. Having moved up in the Dragon's Shadow organization. Yolanda finally faces the truth and decides to come to clean her past, but it may be too late. The Internal Affairs investigation is hitting a wall and Robert Zakia and his Partner Miriam Garcia, redouble their efforts putting pressure on Jimmy, hoping he'll crack. Tarik, Yolanda, and Tess are left to solve the case on their own. Jimmy's meeting with Darius results in disastrous consequences. Dead bodies start to mount, and personal lives are torn apart as the head of the Albanian Mob, Argon, finally discovers who took his money, but more importantly, Argon finds out who killed his son.

Everything comes to a head as Argon closes in on Jimmy and Darius. Jimmy is starting to crack as the world closes in around him. He can see the writing on the wall … the end is coming. Not to mention the murder if his childhood idol, Rap Star Bumby G. But, Jimmy's mind is not on the case. Yolanda steps in and takes over. Jimmy can't stop the war flashbacks and everywhere he looks he's surrounded by enemies. Zakia and Miriam find a witness to the robbery. Darius pleads for protection. Zakia goes off the reservation in his hunt for justice. Tarik pledges his loyalty to Jimmy.

Something terrible and unimaginable has happened. Jimmy Blue has been shot and the team is reeling from shock. Tarik, Yolanda and Tessa threw themselves into solving the case but hit dead end after dead end. Until Miriam shows up at the hospital saying she knows who shot Jimmy. Yolanda and Miriam along with Tarik and Tessa team up to solve the case. Miriam, at Zakia's request, opens up their IA case files. The deal is simple if SIU helps them solve the Internal Affairs investigation of Jimmy and Darius it will lead the SIU team to who shot Jimmy. But, to solve the case means to prove Jimmy guilty of theft and murder.

Yolanda and SIU throw themselves into solving Jimmy's case. Miriam works alongside SIU. Respect growing between them. They retrace their steps. They follow old leads. When left with the facts they can come with only one conclusion … SIU has a dirty cop. Now the four of them are isolated and have to work outside the system. Yolanda and Tarik follow a lead and find Darius with Argon. A final confrontation between Yolanda and Darius leaves the team with only more questions. All the while Jimmy's life hangs by a thread in the powerful season finale of Bronx SIU.
