Episode 1
Painter and decorator Jacko gets into a spot of bother after forgetfully arranging two dates on the same night. At least they're in the same pub!

Episode 2
Jacko further complicates his life by getting involved with a novice nun, the new office secretary and a mystery girl at a tennis club.

Episode 3
Jacko lives in fear of discovery - unwittingly he's taken out the boss's daughter and left her stranded when he found out who she was. If Lionel finds out he'll kill him - if Lesley finds out she'll kill him. Solace comes with Julie.

Episode 4
Jacko's charm is not working too well. Another date with the boss's secretary Sandra ends in disaster and the dark secret concerning Lionel's daughter nears discovery.

Episode 5
Lionel is determined to stop Jacko's relationship with his daughter Leslie but a chance meeting between Jacko and brother Reg may do the job for him.

Episode 6
Lionel's daughter Leslie is on a forced separation from Jacko in America, and Jacko returns from hospital to start back to work. But, for some reason, his old charm is not working with the ladies.

Episode 7
Lionel is planning to extend his business but there are provisos. While Jacko's worries are two-fold, Lesley continues to pursue him and he has to find out whether Veronica's overtures are intentional.

Episode 8
Jacko is still being pursued by Lesley, but Veronica has a bust up with Lionel and needs a shoulder to cry on. Jacko turns to Sandra for some solace.

Episode 9
Celia, the runaway nun Jacko helped, needs a place to stay. Jacko finds her proximity in the flat somewhat disconcerting and becomes a runaway himself.

Episode 10
Jacko develops his outside interests and meets Linda. Meanwhile Lionel loses his most precious possession.

Episode 11
Jacko is flying high with Gaynor, a stewardess. Meanwhile Lionel celebrates his extension of family, but for Veronica the party is over.

Episode 12
Jacko remembers the devious past of Sandra's new boyfriend. The boss misses his wife about the house.

Episode 13
Veronica returns, while Lionel wallows in self-pity and Philip becomes the man his nanny said he would be.
