In this episode, General and Cristina Judd from Me and General Design tackle the playroom. This family-friendly lounge is packed with everything you need for your pod. When you have an unobstructed view of the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop, basic goes out the window. For Houston designer Lucinda Loya, this space is much more than a living room. With a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, gallery art and an oversized sectional this is the perfect spot for working from home, lounging with family, or watching the sunset.

Every home needs a showstopper. For the dining room, which opens entirely onto the covered porch, Denver-based designer Andrea Schumacher echoed nature on its most glamourous day. With 1400 petal pendants, a copper-topped table and let's not forget a swing this room is the perfect place for a swinging dinner party.

Kitchens should no longer be pretty. Designer Sarah Robertson of New York's Studio Dearborn created a space with function for every culinary level and age group. With handmade tiles, panel fronts on refrigeration and under-counter storage, this kitchen is a multigenerational space with style to spare.

Tasked with a massive covered area, Portland-based designer Max Humphrey approached it like an indoor great room, dividing this vast space into zones: a living room, an afternoon reading section and of course a ping-pong table neat the eating area. For a house with 300 days of sunshine each year, this is a room is one you won't want to miss.

Houston-based designer concocted the ultimate ode to her Southern roots: a room dedicated to tea. With bountiful seating, brass detailing, and red walls ina high-gloss finish, this room is a much-needed quiet moment for one.

Tiffany Brooks whipped up an apartment with its kitchen and living room in addition to a bedroom and private patio. Motivated by her parents' style then and now, the Chicago designer carried the color mauve throughout the great room. With saturated green against a four-poster bed and a banquette and breakfast nook, this room is perfect for your parents to move in permanently.

The Oasis is perfectly named as it's now a bedroom that feels like an upscale boutique hotel in the mountains. It has an abundance of storage in the ensuite bathroom and plenty of space to have a peaceful moment at the end of a long day. The Sleep It Off Suite is a glassed-in getaway for a tranquil room for recovery.

Noz Nozawa is known for many things, but subtlety is not one of them - and we are so grateful for it. For this season of Whole Home, she brought every ounce of her passion for colorful design to the game room and lounge she designed. The spaces simultaneously inspire togetherness and individuality, and use a Japanese-inspired design scheme to make it truly special.
