Season 1
Shizuka Yamauchi, 25, housekeeper. Makiko Mitarai, 46, amateur model and perfect housewife. Though strangers on the outside, the two share a past—one Shizuka feels she needs to set right, to bring her mother justice. But Makiko has secrets of her own, and Shizuka will need to tread carefully if she's to get to the bottom of it all…without getting burned.

A young woman calling herself Shizuka Yamauchi arrives at the Mitarai house as the new housekeeper; it's a home she once knew very well.

Episode 2
Yuzu figures out a way to get more information out of the Mitarai family. Makiko begins to share her less-than-glamorous past with the public.

Episode 3
Shinji offers to set up a meeting between Yuzu and their father. Kiichi blackmails Anzu, keeping her from making any progress in her investigation.

Episode 4
Claire finds what may be Makiko's personal blog from 14 years ago. Shinji starts to suspect that Shizuka Yamauchi may not be who she says she is.

Episode 5
After a setback, Anzu has to recalibrate. She confronts her father, and gains an unlikely ally. Anzu finds a new way to keep a close eye on Makiko.

Episode 6
Makiko goes viral all over social media — and not for a good reason. Then, someone starts posting stories exposing Makiko's past.

Episode 7
Instead of apologizing, Makiko holds a press conference and declares that she'll continue being Makiko Mitarai. But the choice may not be her's to make.

Episode 8
The police make an arrest, but it isn't of Makiko. Anzu and Yuzu pay a visit to the Mitarai house to find out the whole truth.
