Audrey Rivers is a survivor of residential schools who is now inspiring her grandson to save a dying language. Monia Mazigh is a Muslim immigrant who was forced to become a human rights activist when her husband was wrongly imprisoned after 9/11. By their actions, determination and commitment, these people have helped to shape the face of Canada as it is today.
