To help Lin Can escape, Nuanmuan hides her in her own home and deals with the demanding landlord. Lin Can secretly manipulates the situation, getting Nuannuan 'accidentally' hired as her assistant, intertwining their destinies once more.

Heartbroken, Nuannuan comforts her, and they confirm they are each other's only salvation. Their kiss, however, is secretly photographed from the shadows.

Months later, Lin Can and Nuannuan live peacefully in the countryside, while Jiang Wan wakes up with temporary amnesia and forgets Si Han, who chooses to reintroduce herself as a “new friend” and start over.
