Ernesto's funeral unites the Vaqueiros in grief and rage. Searching for those responsible for his death, Ubaldo and Dinorah confront the Maleiros, while Zeza tries to prevent further deaths. Ubaldo transforms grief into struggle. To prevent Cratará from being torn apart by politicians and businessmen, Leinneane proposes an agreement on essential public services.
