Caribbean Life - Season 1

Dave and Julie Sommer have moved from St. Louis to St. Croix way back in 2006, but their cramped apartment rental isn't cutting it anymore now that their family has grown by 3! They're working with a local real estate agent, Chris Hanley to help them find a home with a large yard for their kids that's also close to the beach so that they can continue enjoying sailing and jet skiing in the Caribbean.

Corinne Farinola and Patrick Kralik found their own separate ways to the Caribbean from Pennsylvania and South Carolina respectively, but they fell in love with St. Croix and fell in love with each other. After renting a tiny apartment, the couple is now ready for the next step in their relationship and in their life together in St. Croix - buying a home together.

Cliff and Janine Peek decided that the New England winters were no longer for them, so they packed up and headed for the Caribbean. The Peeks, who are avid boaters, were drawn to the huge yachting population in Sint Maarten and are hoping to find something on the Dutch side of the island. They particularly like this side of the island because of the blowing trade winds and the lack of property taxes on the Dutch side. They hope to find a place that's close to their boating activities as well as a quick drive to the French side where they like to shop and dine. The Peeks will have the expertise of broker Jonathan Schaede from Sunshine Properties to help them find their new island escape.

Margi and Jessi La Porte have been living off the grid in cold Vermont winters for the majority of their lives. On a recent vacation to Vieques the couple completely fell in love with the island and decided to make their stay permanent. With the flexibility of Margi's work in internet technology and Jessi's work as a writer and artist, the two of them can live anywhere. So, why not live in Vieques? The La Portes turn to Rainbow Realty's Lin Wetherby and Gustavo Marin to help them find their own little piece of paradise on the beautiful island of Vieques, Puerto Rico.

Griselle and Steve Mucccilo have lived in Long Island for the past 17 years. After many years in the high stress work life, they have decided to get off the rat race treadmill and move to Puerto Rico. They have spent time on all parts of the island and would like to relocate to Rincon to surf, do yoga and run around with their dogs.

Johnny Kelvin and Ona Struwer are world traveling DJs and have been to every corner of the planet entertaining and vacationing. They are ready to find a place to call home base and were drawn to Sint Maarten because of its warm, bright beaches and the overflowing energy from its people and culture. With some of Johnny's family living on the island, they decided that the Dutch Side was the place for them. Now they're searching for a home with enough room to set up a studio so they can continue to create body shaking beats while enjoying the surf and sun of Sint Maarten. So with the help of Island Real Estate Broker, Arun Jagtiani, Johnny and Ona look to find their own place to call home.

Omar Del Rio is from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Caroline Crouch, his girlfriend is from Chicago. These two lovebirds found each other by chance in San Juan and are in search of country life on the island paradise of Puerto Rico.

David and Laurie Hughes live in the hills of West Virginia, and now they have had enough. They long dreamed of making the leap to the topics and now the life they have imagined is coming true in the Dominican Republic.

Karrin and John Pecchia and their two little girls have called it quits on the Minnesota cold and are moving down to a land of sand, sun water and fun. Their lives are about to be filled with Punta Cana's sand castles and palm trees.

Carl and Janna Halberg came on vacation to Vieques to escape the cold and snow of their Minnesota home towns. By the time they got back home the couple devised a plan that would allow them to live on the idyllic island all year round ? they bought a hotel, which they would live in and operate, and made the big move. Now that their Bravo Beach Hotel is up and running, they're ready to find a place away from their business that they can call their Caribbean home.

Doris Jolicouer and Don Sommers fell in love in the military . They have been together ever since and are leaving the land locked life of Alberta, Canada for sand, sun and water of Island paradise that is St. Lucia.

Jason Hanold and Neela Seenandan and their four sons have reached their limit with the cold, hard winters of Kenilworth, Illinois. Married on a beach, they finally decided to bring their kids back to where it all began and are moving to the island life of Turks and Caicos.

Steve and Heidi Nolan are ready to turn in their motorcycles for hobie cats and are heading to the coral colored waters of Turks and Caicos.

David and Jayne Wolliscrofts dreamt they could keep their day jobs, and move to their ideal beach life, all at the same time. When David, who is a doctor, got hired at a new hospital in Turks and Caicos, their dream had turned into a reality. Waving a fond farewell to Canada, they are watching their dreams come true.
