Patients who have overdosed flood the ED, and Stevie throws herself in at the deep end. Nicole is reunited with somebody from her past, and the fractures widen in the paramedic team.

Ngozi hits a new low, Flynn prepares for a drugs crisis, and Iain and Teddy are put to the test.

Iain and Teddy are exposed to danger from a high-risk patient, while Ngozi battles temptation on a tough shift and Jacob faces a dead end in trying to help his son.

The ED is overwhelmed by an influx of teens, while Siobhan worries about the nurses out at a nightclub. Nicole is compromised, and Faith grows suspicious of the paramedics.

Iain questions those closest to him, Nicole decides to make a difference, whilst Flynn and Dylan clash over how to tackle a drug crisis.

Jacob is furious that he's Iain's number one suspect for the missing morphine, Cam's career is threatened after an accusation is made, and Ngozi worries that she might lose Nicole forever.

Nicole faces a tragedy when her attempts to protect a loved one have devastating consequences, Rash steps up for Sunny, and Iain is determined to prove Jacob's innocence.

Rash is horrified when Sunny's actions result in a brutal attack, Flynn offers to help an emotional Nicole, and Iain struggles to resolve his issues with Faith.

Nicole makes the journey to Newcastle to find out more about her past. Meanwhile, Flynn faces a heartbreaking decision in the ED.
