The trade war is making business at JaZams toy store anything but fun and games. To get ahead of tariffs, owners Joanne Farrugia and Dean Smith dipped into their cash savings, spending $400,000 to stockpile toys and books. Nancy Chen reports. Then, Carter Evans has the story of how Canadian lumber costs are affecting rebuilding after the Palisades Fire. A second unvaccinated child has died of measles in West Texas. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. attended the funeral for the 8-year-old girl and voiced support for the measles vaccine. Janet Shamlian reports. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has temporarily paused a lower court's order that required the Trump administration to return a Maryland man who was mistakenly arrested and removed to El Salvador back to the U.S. Scott MacFarlane has details. From 2010 to 2020, the population of rural America declined, marking the first decade-long loss in history, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
