A battle for antique supremacy sees Downton Abbey's Phyllis Logan going head to head with her husband, Pirates of the Caribbean star Kevin McNally. The competition is fierce as the celebrities head through Kent towards an auction in Greenwich, London, each travelling in a classic car and accompanied by an antiques expert. En route, Phyllis visits the impressive collection of a controversial conservationist, while Kevin reveals just how much he knows about the universe.

This edition of the celebrity antiques challenge sees Midsomer Murders star Neil Dudgeon take on Dame Diana Rigg in a quest for antiques glory as they travel around their native Yorkshire in classic cars withexperts Catherine Southorn and Paul Laidlaw. The stars of New Tricks and When the Boat Comes In reveal how competitive they really are as the antique hunt heats up. Along the way, James finds out the secrets of a 170-year-old brewing tradition and bird lover Susan gets up close and personal with a unique and fascinating dodo collection.

Rory McGrath and Steve Punt are joined by experts Christina Trevanion and David Harper as they travel around Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire. Along the way, Rory experiences life in traditional Victorian baths, and Steve shares his love of music as we find out the story behind a music revolution that began in Coventry.

Along the way Phil comes face to face with the inspiration for Sherlock Holmes, and Maria hears how a beautiful well in Flintshire has been credited with healing powers for over 700 years.
